Mining creativity from their punk rock influences, THE ADITS roar into your eardrums from the West Kootenay, poised for riches and glory!
Lead singer and guitar player “Captain” Kirk Stevedore (Dirty Bird, The Stevedores) combines dark storylines about cannibal miners and serial killers with chunky punk and metal riffs. Juno Award winning engineer and producer Roger “Quality Control” Swan (Old Man Strength, numerous OG punk bands) drops devastating drum fills into the mix, while both moonlighting as an instructor at the famed Nimbus School of Recording in Vancouver, and constructing his own recording and rehearsal studio in Little Slocan.
A latecomer to the festivities, Nelson From Nelson (Drunk On Purpose, Flat Outliers, Almanak) was a co-founder of the Massif Music Festival, co-host of Heavy Early on Kootenay Co-op Radio, and once again a reluctant bass player/ backup vocalist in a punk rock band.
Their debut album will be released in the spring of 2020.
