 HOTEL COVID POLICY:

Dear Guests,

Thanks for your support and business during these crazy times. Be assured we are following all BC Health recommendations for the hospitality industry both in the hotel and the pub downstairs. It is our highest priority to provide a safe and clean stay for all guests!

Here’s an abbreviated list of what we’re doing:

-Ensuring daily cleaning and disinfection of all common areas and surfaces. (Door handles, railings, sitting area next to linen closet)

-NOT providing housekeeping service within guest rooms during their stay.

-Ensuring that an adequate supply of clean towels, toilet paper, plain hand soap and shampoo are available prior to guests entering their room.

-Providing a linen or plastic bag for the guest to place their dirty linens in, and a plastic bag for their other waste.

-Cleaners are practicing diligent hand hygiene before entering and after leaving each guest room. . If gloves are used, ensuring a new pair is used for each guest room and bathroom.

-Using a disinfectant that has a Drug Identification Number (DIN). Following the instructions on the product label for dilution, contact time and safe use.

-Removing all cloth items (e.g., sheets and towels). Taking all dirty linens and towels directly to the laundry.

-Steam cleaning fabric items that cannot be laundered (e.g., plush chairs and drapes) and mattress protector. Emptying all garbage containers.

-Discarding all items left in the room by guests.

-Discarding all single-use items and remnants, even if they seem unused or untouched. This includes, but is not limited to, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and sugar packets.

What we need from you:

-Self health checks: Please check yourself before coming into the building, do you have a sore throat, shortness of breath, fever, dry cough? Use the self assessment tool found at this link. https://bc.thrive.health/

-Hygene: Ensure you are washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds regularly throughout your dining or hotel experience, especially when using the washroom facilities. If you have to cough, please cough into your sleeve.

What changes you should know about during your stay:

-Check-in is now 4pm and check out is 10am. Each room needs to be left vacant for 3 hours before cleaning staff is allowed to enter.

-There will be no stay-over services provided, as staff cannot enter the room when guests are there. Additional towels are available upon request.

-As before, all check-ins and payments are completed online. No need to get a key or go into the pub. Check your email 24hrs before your stay and head straight up to your room.
